The Euro Padel League (EPL), founded by Rocks Lane supremo Chris Warren, is moving on to Dubai after uniting Europe and Africa at its recent EPL Cairo Cup in Egypt.
Started in January 2024 after Chris was inspired by competing in the previous year’s European Seniors Championships in Alicante, the EPL is dubbed ‘the Champions League of Padel.’ The event brings together teams of seniors from padel clubs all over Europe and beyond in a fun and friendly environment.
In a unique development in October this year, the EPL Cairo Cup powered by Playtomic and sponsored by Babolat united teams from two continents — from the fjords of Stockholm to the Pyramids of Cairo, from London’s Big Ben to the minarets of Tunis.
The pioneering tournament was achieved through collaboration between the Euro Padel League, the Seniors Padel Tour of Egypt, and the Arvea-sponsored Team Tunisia, uniting the best padel legends for a weekend of competition, camaraderie and celebration.

Hosts Monte Cairo emerged victorious, narrowly defeating London Rocks in a tense and high-quality final.
Third place went to the impressive Arvea of Tunisia, while the Vikings of Stockholm claimed a heroic fourth. The remaining positions, 5th to 8th, were taken by the talented Egyptian squads Scorpions, Padel Pals, Padel Icons and Padel Strikers.
Euro Padel League founder Chris commented: “The EPL Cairo Cup was more than a tournament — it was a bridge between continents. We witnessed the spirit of sport at its best, with legends from Europe and North Africa coming together under one roof, powered by passion and unity.”

Next, the EPL heads to the Emirates for the EPL Dubai Cup 2025 at 700 Padel & Fitness Hub from 4-5 December.
Entry is by invitation only and will include eight team of between six and eight players. Rocks Lane will once again represent Great Britain.
